Few notes and congratulations!

Grace, Jonathan didn't get it into the basket on that picture, but we actually did pretty well. We only had one disc so we played 9 holes of "frolf" each going through an 18 hole course alternating turns. Some of the holes were VERY hard, 300 feet and through A LOT of trees. We definately need more practice, but we both played very well for first timers!

PA crew, congratulations on naming the correct "father of the blues"! William Christopher Handy's statue stands in a pavilion on Beale St. His childhood home, which is now a one room museum, stands at the end of Beale St.

I'd like to see a picture of the inside of the car. How many miles have you logged?

Show more pictures of JMP with his wild mountain-man facial hair!

JMP, you look like you have a crazed look in your eye in the New Orleans pictures. Like you could snap at any moment, move to some secluded corner of wilderness, and write a manifesto.

TO: Christina & Jonathan, FROM: Rob

I didn't exactly have time to figure out the account set-up, and have never blogged before, but wanted to get a quick word of greeting off to you and to let you know that I have viewed the site. What fun!

re: PHILADELPHIA. Told you I'd have strong opinions because it is one of my very favorite cities. The downtown (Center City they call it) farmers market / food heaven place is Reading Terminal Market at 12th & Arch....right next to the mega-huge Pennsylvania Convention Center. Only open Tues-Sat c. 8 - 4, the Amish vendors are only Tues,Thurs, Sat I believe.

Also, have a lunch or bite to eat at El Vez at 13th and Chestnut (or Walnut). Big fun! Walk South Street, a sort of linear Greenwich Village. If you can get out of downtown, walk in the neighborhood called Manayunk (tres cool).

See the interiors of two buildings if possible...the PA Acadmey of Fine Arts downtown, and the Furness Fine Arts Library at Penn (th eUniversity in West Philadelphia). Walk along either river, the Delaware or the Schulykil, and definitely walk in Old City (near Christ Church, but on any map)

And you'll be in the heartland of the cheese steak: Jim's on South Street, or in Reading Terminal, or go to the birthplace Pat's at 9th and Passyunk.

Have a great time! So nice to see you in Baltimore.

How about those Patriots!!!!
